I've seen many documentaries about Queen Elizabeth & her family. In actuality, Philip was Elizabeth's distant cousin. She knew him for 5 years before their marriage. They were married before her reign, so he was a very devoted husband. Thanks for adding to the Jewelry group.

This image shows me a side of Queen Elizabeth I haven't contemplated before this sad event of Prince Philip passing away..., she was his friend, a true friend who believed in him and did all she could to elevate him to where he belonged... a Royal Palace... what a remarkable woman she is.
