Wow. I was just talking about her the other day. I think she was the most beautiful actress ever. I was reading that she suffered from manic depression and tuberculocis. I was really sad to hear that. Thanks for the WP....fav+1
My Mother's name is Vivian, and she loves old movies, that's all she watches. She tells me who all the old actors and actresses are, plus Vivian Leigh. Her husband, Sir Lawrence Olivier, wanted her to play the leading female role of "Wuthering Heights" alongside him in the movie, but they didn't want her for the part, so they cast Merle Oberon, and not long after that she got the role for Scarlett O'Hara in "Gone With The Wind". It turned out even better, when her husband didn't get his way, much better for her career. I thought Merle Oberon sucked in that role anyway, I would have much better liked Greer Garson in "Wuthering Heights". I'm just now really getting into old movies, but I have always been a fan of Cary Grant, that man could do anything, he set his mind too. Love the pic.!!! Fave +1+D
