Good grief, all i want 2 say is i love it i took J.R.O. T.C. in high school and ours was the Marines,, and loved my teachers tht taught it,, but be it as it may doesn't really matter what you call them they were born into the world the same and more then likely can die by a bullet the same,,after all they don't fight each other they defend our country

A Marine says, I am a Marine. Not I am a Marine Corps. Therefore Marine is capitalized. A Soldier does not say I am a Army. He says ,I am a Soldier. And therfore Soldier is Capitalized. Don't let this confuse you, it doesn't mean that a Soldier cannot be A Army!

Glad you liked USMC. I don't know about resolution got it in an E-mail -- And with no disrespect intended - I know it's Marines with a capital M. A large portion of those on the net do not know what capital letters are, others just don't use them. Sooooo, to make sure more people would view this WP, I chose to leave it small. I have nothing but respect for those who choose to sacrifice all in defense of this country and it's people. And in conclusion my friend, you are correct, Soldiers are in the Army!
