You Poeple are more important than any stones of any temple in the world. If there is a belief in the world, and if there is a God in the world, Biblical Moses had the commandmant to build only one God's Temple and only in Jerusalem, but the Biblical disciples of Jesus Christ had no commandment to build any religius houses, as it is seen in the Acts of Apostles of the Bible, Christ's disciples never built any religious houses. So God's People: You are the true temple of God, if You trust in God.

who says you have to go to church on Sunday morning. That is another way religion brainwashes you. You can pray any day of the week on your own without giving money to a church so the pastor can pay his rent.

i love bill. but dude he's the one u should be thanking. ur ass should be in church EVERY sunday !!! u could of been born a tard and where would u be then?

lol marzipan, theism is having a belief in a god, and if you dont have that belief for any reason you are then an atheist. There's no middle ground, if he hasn't made up his mind or doesnt care he is an atheist until he says that he believes there's a god.
Atheism - the lack of belief in god(s)

Bill Gates is worth a Fortune. If he has a say let him be. Hes not tellin you to believe or not thats just his own opinion.

Meh!... whatever, its an awesome comment, whatever you want to believe, our human logical isnt capable of understanding "why we do things" or "how they happened".

Gates is agnostic, not atheist. Can someone tell him that Christianity or belief in God is not just a Sunday event. Its a daily 'walk' and communication with a higher authority. Like a relationship between his children and him;you don't just talk to your children once a week!

Hitler was not an Atheist, he was a Christian and said so many times in his writings.
In response to chb:
Please, don't pull the "Hitler was an atheist" card, otherwise you're a moron with no arguement. You can't do something because of not being something. It's a logical contradiction to disprove a negative.

> It had to start somewhere and with something
Not necessarily, but many other belief systems (including some nontheist ones) include the notion that it had to start somewhere. That sort of vague argument does not lead to preference for a thestic worldview.
>..That being the Alpha and Omega
Or maybe the various other Gods that humans have proposed over the millennia. Or maybe the Big Bang or some other kind of physical beginning.

There is more that he could be doing on Sunday morning...I'll pray for him. Religion aside how can you believe there is no God. It had to start somewhere and with something..That being the Alpha and Omega

I just dont understand how ANYONE could actually believe the fiction in the bible, especially when you see your religious leaders homosexually molesting your children in the churches and popes in history burning/beheading/torturing people by the hundreds of thousands because they didn't or couldn't bring themselves to conform to the idea that 1 single powerful "magical" being of the universe created all things on Earth in 8 days, from nothing but darkness. Did you also know that people who claimed meteors fell from the sky were sentenced to death for herecy because it was believed that the heavens were perfect and could not be tainted with such things as dust rocks or debris.... so believe what you will.

This is great! The photo even looks circa 1997. For more about what Bill Gates has said on the subject of his atheism: celebatheists.com/index.php?title=Bill_Gates

Yeah, it is more important than we think. Where would all the religious wars, misogyny, slavery, torture, beatings, genocides, specicide, etc... be without lovely religion?

Many people have turned to God after using Bill Gates' products

No worries guys, I'm just a fucking douche bag. Gates is right, religion is pointless and just a stupid justification for life.

That comment was made in 1997. He may have changed his opinion on the spiritual aspect of his life.
