A brutal enforcer of Cuban policies — using firing squads to execute those who disagreed with the government. Helped Fidel Castro seize power in Cuba in the 1950s

Are you freaking serious Ahava? That must the dumbest thing I've read on the Internet.

Che was a revolutionary fighting against those who created poverty and economic inequalities in his country, mostly companies in the US. The dictator in place, Batista, who was also backed by the US government, was responsible for the killings of about 20 000 Cubans.

He never even RULED anything, so much for that iron thumb (the correct expression is iron fist, by the way). He was mostly second-in-command to Fidel. How can you call him a dictator? He "murdered millions" you said? He never even had the power to be responsible for mass murder like Stalin or Mao. I'd be surprised if he killed 50 people in his own life, and he was a freaking soldier leading a revolution. He also was a doctor.

With that type of ignorance, you're actually more dangerous than Che ever was, if he was dangerous at all. The only people he was dangerous for were America-based capitalists. You'd also want to take consideration that Cuba has one of the best health system and education system in the world.

To the one ranting about it:
Che did not even ever rule a country. Even in Cuba his highest position was to act as an economy minister. He killed? Yes, he was a soldier (a guerrilla commander to be precise) so he fought the one that was enemy to his goals. But then so does "your boys" on Afghanistan, Irak and Palestina, and you don't go denouncing they are "murderers", even if they act blindly following orders earning a living and not out of selfless personal conviction (some would say fanatism) for a cause like Guevara.
Oh, and he also was a graduated medic and saved some lives in that role as well ;)

Ahaba, you must be one of the most ignorant people I have encountered over the internet, and that is to say a lot.

Firstly, you compared on the pther post Obama both to a Maoist and Hitler in his way of governing (WTF?), now you say that Che "Is a tyrant that ruled with Iron Fist and killed millions". That is another giant WTF??? because Che did not even ever rule a country. Even in Cuba his highest position was to act as an economy minister. He killed? Yes, he was a soldier (a guerrilla commander to be precise) so he fought the one that was enemy to his goals. But then so does "your boys" on Afghanistan, Irak and Palestina, and you don't go denouncing they are "murderers", even if they act blindly following orders earning a living and not out of selfless personal conviction (some would say fanatism) for a cause like Guevara.

apparently the guy is very popular! lol. Melanie thank you for taking my comment seriously and thinking about it. Forgive me if I sounded abrupt or harsh. I just think it's sad how many people idolize the guy without knowing the facts behind him. His image is such as icon he has almost reached mythic status! I do love the imagery though. :D

(I totally hear ya about the curly haired guys thing... so HOT!) ;)

interesting choice of upload. It's interesting that his image is everywhere, including Cuba and seems to have become a symbol of rebellion kinda like Mao Zedong has in China. But why can't people do some research... Che murdered millions of his own people without cause and was a DICTATOR who rulled the masses with an iron thumb. He was just as bad, if not worse than Hitler, Lennin, Stalin, Mao, Muammar al-Gaddafi, & Kim Jong Il of North Korea!
